Foundational Dog Training
The three most important commands for any dog to learn are: Sit, Stay, and Come.
Training is a way to increase your dog’s confidence level, reduce anxiety and stress and give them a sense of enrichment. It also increases the bond you have with your dog because you both learn the same “language.”

What You and Your Dog Will Learn
You’ll receive an introduction to clicker training, which is a positive reinforcement method of learning for your dog. Together with your dog, you will learn some basics in:
Capturing and reinforcing already good behavior that they demonstrate.
Targeting preferred behavior that you would like to see.
Shaping techniques which allow you to work towards making veterinary and grooming visits fun and enjoyable for your dog.
Interpreting your dog’s emotional state through their body language.
During your complimentary foundational dog training consultation, we’ll discuss the benefits of training for your dog, as well as the techniques you’ve tried in the past in order to create a training plan that works for you and your dog. Each 60-minute training session is $80.
